Hello,
I am Kaipei.

I am a UX designer with 10+ years experience. I have worked

- in both B2B and B2C industries.
Besides being employed, I have established my own small e-commerce business for some years.
Currently, I am learning and growing my skills to become a Customer Experience (CX) designer.

As a UX designer, I have worked with many product owners and product managers (I believe more than 40). One of them is Guoqiang Huang, with whom I worked at Tencent. He is a PO/PM with a very strong business mind. He came up the best product strategies for us.

Most people at Tencent have graduated from the best universities in China or abroad, but he is not one of them. After high school, he started his own business.

I realized that the best way to learn about business and develop a business mindset is to start doing business, even if it's something very small. In 2017, after getting married and moving back to Germany, I tried this very small business and made it profitable.

Userlane is a market-leading digital adoption platform that instantly improves the usage and adoption of software. What is shown here is the customer-end solution. I was also designing the dashboard features for B2B clients.

Feature 'Announcement'

One of the most complex and customer-loved feature I was responsible for is called 'Announcement'.

Here is a screenshot of the announcement editor, which includes:

- rich settings. (left)

- live preview. (right)

This structure provides endless possibilities for feature expansions.

We have received very possitive feedbacks from our customers, that the interface is intuitive.

Tencent 'Shouji Guanjia' mobile app. This app was developed by Tencent's internet security team. It helps Chinese users to avoid spam call and tele criminal traps.

It reached 100 million users in 2016 and was presented in WWDC 2016 as Apple's partner.

I was responsible for this app's IOS user experience.
